Fred Huddleston, In His Own Words

Fred HuddlestonI like flirting with disaster and decided that watercolor was the best medium for me. I never know if my effort will be a spontaneous fresh painting or another failure that will be destroyed.

Painting a variety of subjects, using various techniques, on location, or in the studio keeps my interest fresh. I’m committed to new styles and techniques that will continue to evolve in my watercolors.

Born in Tennessee. My adult life has been spent in Mexico, South Pacific, and California. I studied the aspects of drawing and painting while living in Mexico under the watchful eyes of Palomar Torres. I’m very fortunate to have my art works in many private and corporate collections.
